Hi, I’m Jordan!

In early 2023, I had a bit of a lightbulb moment - the corporate world just wasn’t for me. I was ready to swap the zoom calls and meetings for muddy paws and tail wags!

Absolutely Barking started out super simple, walking dogs for friends and family on my days off. I never imagined it would grow into what it is today.

After months of juggling full-time work with dog walking (and clocking in some seriously long days - we’re talking 14 hours, 7 days a week!), I took the leap in December 2023 and became a full-time dog walker and business owner. Best. Decision. Ever!

Not long after, my partner Lyd joined the adventure full-time, and the business has been growing ever since. We’ve got some exciting plans for Absolutely Barking, and we can’t wait to bring you, and your pups along for the ride!

Hiya, I’m Lyd!

In January 2024, I ditched the packed London trains and joined my partner Jordan full-time on our Absolutely Barking adventure - and I’ve never been happier!

I’ve grown up around dogs my whole life, so wagging tails, muddy paws and slobbery kisses are pretty much my idea of heaven.

I used to help out behind the scenes while juggling a London job, but eventually, the call of the countryside (and the pups!) was just too strong to ignore!

Now, we spend our days creating the ultimate doggy dream - safe, happy adventures where your furry best friends can run, play and sniff to their heart’s content!

Hey, I’m Jade but you can call me crazy dog lady as I am MAD about dogs!

Earlier this year I made the extremely hard decision to step away from my full time job to care for my dog during his last months. After losing Snoop, I knew I wanted to continue walking and caring for dogs.

I have been volunteering at the Stokenchurch Dog Rescue for over a year now and that is where I fell in love with my dog Scrappy. Since joining the Absolutely Barking family I have been able to rehome another lovely dog called Lily!

I am so excited to finally be doing what I love and what makes me happy! I look forward to meeting you and your four legged friend soon!

Hey! I’m Isla!

My love for dogs really kicked off after I left college, where I studied Health and Social Care. I started working in boarding kennels while trying to find my way in the dog world. Somewhere between the muddy paws and wagging tails, I completely fell head over heels for working with dogs — and I’ve never looked back!

In 2022, I decided to take the plunge and train as a dog groomer…and wow, I loved it! It also made me realise there was a puppy-shaped hole in my life. Then in June 2023, I saw a post about a tiny little pup who urgently needed a home. She was just 5 weeks old and in a bad situation — and that’s how Bonnie came into my life! She’s a mix of 15 terrier breeds, bursting with personality (and yaps!), and keeps me smiling every single day.

I’ve recently taken a small step back from grooming and now work just two days a week, as I’m really excited to widen my skills — which is how I ended up at Absolutely Barking!

I’m SO excited to be part of this amazing pack and can’t wait to meet you all… and of course, all your gorgeous doggos!
